Core Beers - available all year

Dæmon
Format: Can Case @ 6x4pk, 16oz
Style: Belgian Strong Golden
ABV: 8.5%
Availability: Core Beer - all year
Tasting Notes: This devilishly smooth golden strong clocks in at 8.5% but drinks like 6.0%. Aroma and flavor of ripe pear balanced with white pepper. Effervescence from high carbonation lightens up the rich malt backbone.
WTF Name: Dæmon (pronounced DAY-mun) is a little obtuse. First off it's traditional to give this style of beer a devilish name - like Duvel/devil. But nerds also know this as a program that runs on its own doing all kinds of stuff. Ever get a bounced email from "mailer daemon"? That was sent from a daemon.

Whitespace
Format: Can Case @ 6x4pk, 16oz
Style: Traditional Witbier
ABV: 5.1%
Availability: Core Beer - all year
Tasting Notes: Whitespace is a traditional witbier made with Seville orange zest and Indian coriander to round out the light-to-medium body of the wheat beer and Belgian yeast.
WTF Name: Whitespace is the dead space in an email. Like when you're typing an email, fall asleep on the return key, and create all kinds of whitespace in your email. Oh also, the beer is white/wit so there's that.

Voxel
Format: Can Case @ 6x4pk, 16oz
Style: American Saison
ABV: 5.6%
Availability: Core Beer - all year
Tasting Notes: This beer has the bones of a classic saison but the dry hopping makes the complete package really pop. The saison yeast gives off fruity esters and earthy phenols that smell and taste of ripe pears, dried apricots, and light white pepper. The Mosaic hops bring clear hop presence with aromas and flavors of ripe berries. The yeast and hops are knitted together with a wheat-forward malt bill that is easy drinking and lightly creamy.

Position Zero
Format: Can Case @ 6x4pk, 16oz
Style: American Pale Ale
ABV: 5.6%
Availability: Core Beer - all year
Tasting Notes: With a clear hop presence throughout, this low bitterness and smooth dry-hopped APA gives spicy/floral hop expression in the flavor and aroma. Medium body makes it easy to get after a second... and a third. .
WTF Name: Every good tech / engineering nerd knows you start counting from zero. That's position zero. This is also the first beer ever from Lo Rez. Well not this batch exactly. So it's our position zero beer.

Rotating

Lemon Lime Shortcut
Format: Can Case @ 6x4pk, 16oz
Style: Berliner Weisse w/fruit
ABV: 3.5%
Availability: Rotating "Shortcut" Series
Tasting Notes:

Blood Orange Hard Seltzer
Format: Can Case @ 4x6pk, 12oz
Style: Premium Hard Seltzer with Blood Orange Puree
ABV: 5.0%
Availability: Rotating "Hard Seltzer" Series
Tasting Notes: Yep, we did that. Hard seltzer with a touch of blood orange.

Seasonal

Flavor of the Wheat
Format: Can Case @ 6x4pk, 16oz
Style: Session American Wheat Ale
ABV: 4.7%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes: A collaboration between Lo Rez Brewing and the band Of Wolves. This beer is a sessionable, crushable, and shotgun-able American Wheat Ale. Amarillo hops lend a tangerine and citrus like aroma riding above a light bodied, wheat forward flavor. Chug early, chug often!
WTF Name: Check out the Of Wolves song "Flavor of the Week" :)

Primary Element
Format: Can Case @ 6x4pk, 16oz
Style: Classic Saison
ABV: 6.4%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes:
WTF Name:

Girl Named Herb
Format: Can Case @ 6x4pk, 16oz
Style: Belgian Strong Golden with Basil and Sage
ABV: 8.5%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes: It's Daemon with herbs!
This devilishly smooth golden strong clocks in at 8.5% but drinks like 6.0%. Aroma and flavor of ripe pear balanced with white pepper. Effervescence from high carbonation lightens up the rich malt backbone.
WTF Name: It's a riff on "Boy Named Sue" by Johnny Cash. The song was originally written by Shel Silverstein.

Far North Declaration
Format: Can Case @ 6x4pk, 12oz
Style: Rye-Barrel BA Imperial Stout
ABV: 10.0%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes: Our rich imperial stout aged in a mix of barrels from our friends at Far North Spirits aged for a year then blended for a smooth barrel forward stout. Notes of dark chocolate, black cherry, and vanilla
WTF Name: The base beer is our Imp Stout "Public Delcaration"...and the barresls come from Far North Spirits.
Oak Aged Mesa Fault
Format: Can Case @ 6x4pk, 12oz
Style: Barrel Aged Wee Heavy w/Morita Chiles
ABV: 7.5%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes: We aged our malty “wee heavy” ale in oak barrels and added Morita chiles. The result is a brew rich in deep smoky chile flavors and a touch of lingering chile heat.

Currently Unavailable

Biere de Miel
Format: [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]
Style: Honey Saison
ABV: 6.0%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes: Farmhouse aromas and flavors of wheat, hay, play off the clove and citrus. Single source Indian honey provide mouthfeel and light residual honey notes.
WTF Name: It's kinda redundant.

Moiré
Format: [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]
Style: Summer Saison w/cucumber & pink peppercorn
ABV: 5.4%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes: The classic saison is present throughout with wheat and fruity esters. Hand-processed cucumber juice gives a refreshing aroma and light fruitiness on the palate while the pink peppercorn counter-points with a sweet-sharp nuttiness.
WTF Name: Moire comes from the repetitive pattern typically found in textiles. It's also tossed around in context of the wavy patterns produced by digital images (and other ways). Why did we choose it? Because it sounds cool and rhymes with Gwar and Moiré doesn't rhyme with anything.

Flora
Format: [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]
Style: Witbier with Ginger
ABV: 4.7%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes: Our second year honoring Women's History Month. Flora was brewed by Ginny and Rachel of Lo Rez and label artist Vivian Le. It's a witbier with the power and beauty of ginger.

Passion Fruit Shortcut
Format: [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]
Style: Berliner Weisse with passion fruit puree
ABV: 3.9%
Availability: Rotating "Shortcut" Series
Tasting Notes: The base beer has a medium body from the high percentage of wheat, and a slightly funky tartness from the 3.5% ph. Fermented with passion fruit puree the beer leads with lightly sweented passion fruit and the overall flavor of the fruit melds perfectly with the citrus of the base beer.
WTF Name: Did you know you can use the Mac control key + the ` tick to switch between apps? Like Alt-Tab in Windows. That's a shortcut. Plus this beer is short on alcohol. I know that's a stretch.

Local Logic
Format: Can Case @ 6x4pk, 16oz
Style: Pilsner
ABV: 4.7%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes: A refreshing easy drinking Pils. The super grainy body is propped up with low to firm bitterness. Deliciously clean.
WTF Name: In software programming terms local logic is really nerdy. And there's also global logic which is nerdy too. This smooth easy drinking lager goes down really well with the locals in our taproom.

Pear Knockout
Format: [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]
Style: Tart Saison w/Fruit
ABV: 8.5%
Availability: Rotating Fruit Treatment
Tasting Notes: A saison justly slightly soured then fermented with pear puree.

Biere de Miel - Lavender
Format: [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]
Style: Honey Saison w/Lavender
ABV: 6.0%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes: The same amazing honey saison base in Biere de Miel but with a touch of lavender.

Double Berry Hard Seltzer
Format: [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]
Style: Premium Hard Seltzer with Blueberry and Raspberry puree
ABV: 5.0%
Availability: Rotating "Hard Seltzer" Series
Tasting Notes: Yep, we did that. Hard seltzer with a breath of bliueberry and raspberry.

No Dogma is Good Dogma
Format: [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]
Style: Scottish Wee Heavy lightly aged in fernet barrels
ABV: 7.5%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes: Aroma of choco-covered mints. Medium body wee heavy. Flavor of candied aprocots, mint, and choco-covered toffee. Color of corintian leather.
WTF Name: Every year we do a fernet-aged beer with barrels from our friends at CH Distileries. This is the first year it's been packaged. The CH fernet was called "Dogma".

Mango Chile Shortcut
Format: [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]
Style: Berliner Weisse with Mango and Thai Chile
ABV: 3.4%
Availability: Rotating "Shortcut" Series
Tasting Notes: We brought back this fan-favorite. Rich mango in aroma and throughout on the pallete. The Thai chile lends a sharp prick but barely builds so it's nothot. The Berliner weisse base provides a firm but sour and funky backbone. It's the perfect summer quencher.
WTF Name: Did you know you can use the Mac control key + the ` tick to switch between apps? Like Alt-Tab in Windows. That's a shortcut. Plus this beer is short on alcohol. I know that's a stretch.
Strawberry Shortcut
Format: [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]
Style: Berliner Weisse w/Strawberry Puree
ABV: 5.2%
Availability: Rotating "Shortcut" Seriesr
Tasting Notes: The base beer has a medium body from the high percentage of wheat, and a slightly funky tartness from the 3.5% ph. Strawberry comes through on the nose and all the way though and plays nicely off the base-beer characteristics.
WTF Name: Did you know you can use the Mac control key + the ` tick to switch between apps? Like Alt-Tab in Windows. That's a shortcut. Plus this beer is short on alcohol. I know that's a stretch.
Raster
Format: [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]
Style: A Fine Fall Saison
ABV: 5.5%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes: The spalt select hops and 25% malted rye grain brings a delicate spiciness and medium mouthfeel which plays off the fruitiness of our Belgian saison yeast. A delicious cold-weather saison.
WTF Name: In graphic design, all digital images are either vector images or raster images. It's also the way old-skool tube-tv's "painted" the screen with super fast lines back and forth. And the word is dope af.

Pineapple Whitespace
Format: [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]
Style: Belgian Witbier w/Pineapple
ABV: 4.6%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes: This is a variation on our core-beer Whitespace. The base beer is a traditional witbier made with Seville orange zest and Indian coriander to round out the light-to-medium body of the wheat beer and Belgian yeast. The pineapple provides another dimention to the juicy citrus of the yeast, corriander, and zest.
WTF Name: Whitespace is the dead space in an email. Like when you're typing an email, fall asleep on the return key, and create all kinds of whitespace in your email. Oh also, the beer is white/wit so there's that.

Double
Format: [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]
Style: Belgian Dubbel
ABV: 6.3%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes: A touch of carmel roast and toast play with the fruity Belgian esters to make this 6.3% ABV beer really easy and fun to drink.
WTF Name: Just a little groove on Double=Dubbel.

Plum Knockout
Format: [CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE]
Style: Berliner Weisse w/Plum Puree
ABV: 5.5%
Availability: Rotating "Knockout" Series
Tasting Notes: Juicy, tart, very smooth, mauve. Balanced plum in aroma and flavor. This farmhouse ale has the backbone of a grassy wheatfield and kettle soured for a light tartness.

Barrel Aged Quad Core
Format: Can Case @ 6x4pk, 12oz
Style: Belgian Quad, aged in rum barrels
ABV: 12.0%
Availability: Seasonal
Tasting Notes: Our strong, dark Belgian quadruple ale aged for almost a year in a mix of rum barrels from Far North Spirits (MN) and Twisted Path Distilling (WI). Strong flavors of cane sugar, caramelized sugar, brown sugar.
